I miei pupi, 2007,

Il lavoro si sviluppa sulla falsariga di “Autofocus”, mettendo in atto lo stesso meccanismo di “entrata” e di “uscita” mia sulle fotografie dei miei genitori (questa volta contemporaneamente e a figura intera). La sovrapposizione, però, diventa più ironica e le figure statiche sembrano animarsi come dei burattini. Il contesto spaziale è dato dall’audio; i suoni d’ambiente sono stati registrati a Campodimele, paese in provincia di Latina, luogo dove 30 anni fa fu scattata la fotografia.

The work develops following the model of “Autofocus”, using the same “in” and “out” mechanism of myself on the photographs of my parents (this time simultaneously and on a whole figure ). However, the overlapping becomes more ironic and the static figures seem to come alive like puppets. The spatial context is made by the audio; the sounds of the environment have been recorded at Campodimele, a town in the province of Latina, a place where 30 years ago the photograph was shot.
