Video Pal, 4:3, colore, sonoro, durata: 7’09’’

Il lavoro abbina due contesti diversi: l’immagine, tratta da una ripresa ad infrarossi della casa dei miei genitori, e il suono del mio sangue che scorre, prelevato attraverso un’indagine ecografica-sonora che si chiama eco-doppler. Il ritmo del suono detta il montaggio delle immagini, fino a riunire i due contesti in uno: l’interno della casa è l’interno del mio corpo.

The artwork combines two different contexts: the images, recorded by an infra-red camera from the house of my parents and the sound of my blood that flows, taken with an ultrasound test calledecho-doppler. The rhythm of the sound of my blood dictates the editing of the images, until the two contexts, reunite one on each other: the inside of the house is the inside of my body.
