Buon Natale in rumeno si dice Craciun Fericit.
Chi si destreggia nel traffico caotico di Roma è proprio un Babbo Natale rumeno che nel suo goffo e improbabile travestimento chiede un misero compenso agli automobilisti distratti che lo circondano per poi abbandonarlo a ogni verde di semaforo. Il pallone che rimbalza compulsivamente sulla testa, diventa la metafora perfetta del nostro tempo in cui anche personaggi dell’immaginario collettivo e intoccabile sono declassati a mortificanti fenomeni metropolitani, disposti a tutto pur di svoltare la giornata.

Merry Christmas in Romanian is Craciun Fericit. Whoever juggles in the chaotic traffic of Rome is a Romanian Santa Claus who in his clumsy and unlikely disguise asks for a meagre compensation to the distracted motorists who surround him and then abandon him at the green light of the traffic light. The compulsively bouncing ball on the head, becomes the perfect metaphor for our time in which even the characters of the collective and untouchable imagination are downgraded to a mortified metropolitan phenomena, willing to do anything to change their day.
